Home to the knitting world's anti-Finisher. Kind of like the anti-Christ, but with a smaller following.

Pssst ... Over Here ...

... no ... over here. Right here, in this hammock. Yeah, it's me. Well actually it's not me, it's Vera. How have you all been? Good? Me? I'm OK. Sorta fell off the radar for a bit there.

Ya know this whole "rat thing"? There's a lotta rats here right now. Like ... 13. Does that sound like a lot? Last week there was 16 so I'm moving in the right direction. I seem to have embraced the concept of being a rat foster mom quite wholeheartedly. Five of the 13 are fosters so I'm hoping at the adoption fair this Saturday someone might actually like to take one or two home. PLEASE.

This is Murray. Isn't he cute? Wouldn't you love a little three month old rattie? He's even got two brothers so it would be like an instant rat family. And he's neutered so you don't need to worry about him knocking some girl up and you suddenly having 12 rat grandchildren.

Other than this rat thing, which is sort of overwhelming, I'm still doing stuff for the Pine Ridge Reservation. I'm sponsoring an Elder which is very rewarding. I still have the same HIDEOUS job. Umm, what else.

Oh that knitting and crocheting thing. Yeah, I'm making slippers for the Elders at PRR. Did I mention there's a lotta rats here?
