As The Yarn Spins

Here at Soap Opera Central, comment moderation has been turned on. I really hate comment moderation. I feel it detracts people from posting. However now that we've all had a glimpse into the way my brother's mind works it's time to change the channel. And there's been enough nastiness on this blog for the year. But just to set the record straight, I dated Paul Longworth when I was 15, not 14. And I quite liked riding around in a tow truck.

Can we get back to knitting now? Please?

One down, one to go. Koigu in the Yukon Leaves pattern. Would be nice if you could actually SEE the pattern. Alas, no such luck. It was fun to knit though, if you like lace. I did it on 1's so it fits well but I hate 1's. They make my fingers cramp and my shoulders ache. Will we see a twin for this little number? Undecided.

And waiting in the wings ...

Manos Del Uruguay for My So Called Scarf. I think these colors are amazing; I just hope they're not so dark that you won't be able to see the pattern. Kinda like the sock above.

Knitting Arts reorganized their Koigu display. Previously unseen colors are now prominently in view. I am doomed.

Comment moderation is a great thing. Everyone is accustomed to using it, so not to worry. (Are you able to go back and delete his comments? This is YOUR blog, and who needs his nasty psychotic comments. He's difinately got some mental problems. You can also report him to his ISP for cyber stalking and harassment, so maybe hold off on deleting his comments. It gives you proof.)
LOVE your yarns, aspecially the purple Manos.

You can delete the nasty comments in the blogger dashboard - email me if you can't find it.

Is it okay if I crochet instead? ;-)

So, Sammy wants to know what kind of trouble (uh, fun times) his pal Andy has gotten into.

I have the song "I'm getting married in the morning" in my head today. I'm not (but my friend Kimm is).

Love the gorgeous purple and orange yarns!

Ooh! Love the Manos, good choice. I started a "My So-Called Scarf" but haven't finished it yet... it's officially a UFO. I've yet to actually knit a scarf — I learned to knit on washcloths and dishtowels. I think that's what happens in Southern California where you can't wear scarves anyway...

Yay for comment moderation! I know it is a pain, but it gives you more control...and I do love control! There isn't a single color in those yarns that I don't love. Nice choices!

Mmmm, yummy yarn porn! I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. "Anonymous" seems to be stuck on this kid issue. Does he believe that someone with more children or less children deserves more from a deceased relative? Some warped people feel a sense of entitlement. My BIL was a real bastard when my in-laws passed away. I hope Karma exists.

I came over from Trek's. I'm so sorry to hear about your mum and the horrible time you've had.
